The goldsmiths prepare and stretch the silver wires that will be twisted to create the empty sculptural form, which is characteristic of the collection.
The master cutler will forge the spoon by hand from a simple small silver ingot by hammering in just the right places, with just the right amount of force.
Finally, the two pieces are joined together and polished by hand to shine forever.
