Pelícano is a work of Object Art made by TANE and Mario Martin del Campo. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, he studied at the National School of Plastic Arts in San Carlos. In 1974 he had his first individual exhibition and in 1976 he exhibited in Amsterdam, Holland. His relationship with the performing arts: theater, opera and ballet, is reflected in his surrealist work. Fantastic characters arise from central elements, mostly stringed musical instruments. Mario Martin del Campo's work includes painting, drawing, graphics, sculpture and objects. He is considered one of the last artists of the fantastic realism, whose works possess a Renaissance rigor and an impressive perfection. He has exhibited his work since 1977 in Europe, the United States, Canada, Latin America and Mexico.
