Gender Objet D’Art
The Light is an Object Art work made by TANE and Ricardo Legorreta. He was born on May 7, 1931 in Mexico and is one of the greatest architects in the country's history. From 1948 to 1952 he studied architecture at the National School of Architecture of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and worked at José Villagrán García's workshop until 1960, when he founded his office in partnership with Noé Castro and Carlos Vargas. His style is characterized by the application of contemporary themes to the traditional architecture of his country. Legorreta's work is based on the management of proportions, the creation of elemental spaces, intense color and the forcefulness of structural and architectural elements, which are integrated into few materials and a monumental scale. Its architecture is regional and responds to the needs of its cultural environment.
