The Jarra Dos Picos Vermeil Pitcher by Casa TANE is one of the brand’s most iconic pieces. This special edition is made in sterling silver through the Repoussé technique, covered in 23 karat yellow gold vermeil. The piece takes its characteristic silhouette from the original pre-Hispanic pitcher housed in the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City, one of the few that have been found in good condition, since it was customary to give to new married couples who would take care of it all their lives so that, when one of the spouses died, he or she would be buried with one of the spouts of the jar, a clay wedding band. The piece brought to silver by TANE is poetry in itself, a celebration of eternal love. Handmade in Mexico.
