Mirando Al Cielo is an Object Artwork made by TANE and Paloma Torres. Born in 1960 in Mexico City, she studied a degree in Visual Arts at the National School of Plastic Arts of the UNAM where she later studied a Master's Degree in Color Engraving. She has carried out different artistic residencies in Mexico and abroad: with the master Rene? Derouin in Canada; at the Artists on the Coast program in Mexico; at the International City of the Arts in France; and at the Mexican Ceramic Art Museum in China. In addition to solo exhibitions, he has participated in over 100 national and international group shows. Paloma Torres has studied space and its relationship with society, the intervened landscape and the vital testimonies of the city. In her sculptural works she works with different materials such as ceramics, metals and clay. She has belonged to the National System of Creators; she has been a professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Her most noteworthy works include the sculpture commemorating the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation and the honorary mentions in the IV Korean Ceramic Biennial.
