Home / Veuve Clicquot

This first collaboration between the two luxury houses comes in the form of a unique limited edition set — a tribute to Mexico’s most important celebration: Dia de los Muertos.

The TANE x Veuve Clicquot Day of the Dead Limited Edition 2021 Set is inspired by the shape of a 360º altar, the recognizable centerpiece of this uniquely Mexican celebration.

Recognized as Mexico’s only premiere luxury brand and boasting a near 80 year heritage, TANE Mexico 1942 proved a natural partner for an elite collaboration honoring Mexican culture. The house specializes in the design and creation of handcrafted luxury items in sterling silver, 23K vermeil and 18K gold – from barware to flatware and art objects to jewelry. Each TANE x Veuve Cliquot ‘Day of the Dead’ Limited Edition set includes: Two bottles of Veuve Clicquot — La Grande Dame Brut 2008; four Veuve Clicquot glasses; one TANE Mexico 1942 Champagne bucket in .925 sterling silver and 23K yellow gold vermeil; two TANE Mexico 1942 trays in .925 sterling silver; one TANE Mexico 1942 bottle stopper in .925 sterling silver with a marigold flower cast in 23K yellow gold vermeil; four TANE Mexico 1942 Glass “Charm” Identifiers: one made entirely in .925 sterling silver; one with 23K yellow gold vermeil, one with 18K rose gold vermeil and the fourth with an oxidized detail.

Today two of the world’s leading luxury houses, Veuve Cliquot and TANE Mexico 1942, unveil their first-ever collaboration in the form of a limited edition trunk fully stocked with an exceptional array of champagne, barware and glassware.

Crafted in homage to Mexico’s iconic Day of the Dead celebration

All silver items are inspired by the ultimate symbol of Day of the Dead — the marigold flower — handmade by TANE Mexico 1942 in .925 sterling silver and 23K yellow gold vermeil. The commemorative trunk is handcrafted and lined with vegan leather made from Mexico’s native Nopal cactus — known for having a thick and resistant skin. The innovative choice of material is perfectly aligned with the ambitious sustainability goals of both brands, TANE Mexico 1942 and Veuve Cliquot.

All pieces are handmade by TANE's master craftsmen and women, ensuring every detail and achieving luxury pieces of the highest quality.
